Welcome back, everyone. We’ve got no shortage of great stuff for you this week, so let’s get down to it. Here’s your Monday Update.

The spotlight this week goes to our good friend Logan who has reached his milestone 300th issue in Wolverine #300. This issue promises to be chock full of trips to Tokyo, Silver Samurai, and illegitimate children! Now that I think about it, that’s actually par for the course when it comes to Wolverine…

Over in Marvel’s crossover events department, we’ve got some new titles from both. This week’s Shattered Heroes books are Battle Scars #3, Captain america #7, Incredible Hulk #4, and Journey Into Mystery #633. The new Regenesis titles are Wolverine and the X-Men #4, X-Factor #230, and X-Men: Legacy #260.1.

Another title worth mentioning is the release of DC’s Batman: Through the Looking Glass hardcover. In this original graphic novel, Batman meets the Mad Hatter for the first time, and gets involved in some strange goings on. Everyone close to Batman thinks he’s gone nuts (more than usual), but he keeps solving mysteries, so is he really mad? This book comes from the mind of writer Bruce Jones, and features some really trippy art by Sam Keith.

After this week, we’ll have one less Avengers title to look forward to, as Avengers 1959 #5 marks the conclusion to that particular book. However, there’s plenty of other commencements to take its place as we get Lobster Johnson: The Burning Hand #1, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic War #1, Transformers: More than meets the Eye #1, as well as Spidey meets the Devil: Part 1 in Amazing Spider-Man #677, and Dr. Wily Returns: Part 1 in Mega Man #9.

Meanwhile, the highly anticipated Brilliant #2 finally hits shelves, we’ll be seeing a new series of Femme Fatales Minimates, and if you prefer your tiny plastic figures to dispense candy, we’re also getting a new set of Marvel PEZ dispensers.

There’s more, you know. There’s always more, but if we told you about everything here, that would take all day! For a more complete list of everything that’s coming out this week, check out the complete diamond shipping list. It’s… mostly accurate, but on occasion an item or two that doesn’t quite exist yet finds its way onto the report. Be sure to check with us first for availability. As always, the items listed above will not be available until Wednesday, January 11th.

What will you be reading this week? Can Frankenstein handle the mighty mohawk of OMAC in Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E. #5? Does somebody really die in Spawn #215? (Hint: probably) Can Mega Man handle the likes of Quick Man in Mega Man #9? Do these pants make me look fat? Let us know on our facebook page.

See you at the store.
