We’re halfway through January already! Time flies when you’re reading lots of great comics, doesn’t it? This week we see a bunch of conclusions, a giant robot from space, some mini Doctor Who’s, and even a new lord of the jungle! Here’s your Monday Update.
This week’s spotlight goes to the caped crusader in Batman #5. Did you know that there’s going to be a big Bat Family crossover soon? Well there is, and it deals with the Court of Owls, found within the pages of Batman. If you’re a bat-fan, this is the book to read!
Marvel’s big ‘ol crossovers are still coming around, this time with some Fear Itself and X-Men: Regenesis. This week’s Regenesis books are Generation Hope #15, New Mutants #36, and Uncanny X-Force #20. For you Fear Itself fans, you get Fear Itself: The Fearless #7, Fear Itself: Journey in to Mystery HC, and Fear Itself: Thunderbolts HC. (HC means hardcover.)
As mentioned earlier, there are a slew of final issues coming your way this week. Crossed: Psychopath #7, John Carter: A Princess of Mars #5, John Carter: World of Mars #4, Legion of Monsters #4, Mass Effect: Invasion #4, and Superior #7 all represent the conclusions of their respective titles. However, there’s always new stuff on the way, and this week we get Danger Girl: Revolver #1, Kirby Genesis: Dragonsbane #1, and the much requested Lord of the Jungle #1 to fill the emptiness left in our hearts.
Meanwhile, Dynamite’s take on everyone’s favorite lion-composed space robot continues in Voltron #2, Spider-Man fans have plenty to read in Avenging Spider-Man #3, Amazing Spider-Man #678, and Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man #6, and there’s even some really cute Doctor Who mini figures on the way!
